Historia
In Shepherds for Sale, Megan Basham of the Daily Wire documents how progressive powerbrokers—from George Soros, to the founder of eBay, to former members of the Obama administration—set out to change the American church. Their goal: to co-opt evangelicals for political purposes.

A journalistic work that gets to the heart of a real danger
Revisado: 08-01-24
The truth can be hard to hear. But hear it we must. Shepherds for Sale is a well written journalistic piece on a group and topic that concerned Christians are mostly shy, embarrassed or scared to discuss.
Through its chapters and examples, one can hear Basham's intellectual curiosity and heart in interviewing those who have been hurt by the consequences of church leaders who have sold out the Gospel for the lies, money and prestige of the world. And yet, you are left with a call to stand firm in the faith.
Well done!

Historia
Have you ever found yourself wondering “Why do I want more than I have?” Michael Easter, author of The Comfort Crisis and one of the world’s leading experts on behavior change, shows that the problem isn’t you. The problem is your scarcity mindset, left over from our ancient ancestors. They had to constantly seek and consume to survive because vital survival tools like food, material goods, information, and power were scarce and hard to find. But with our modern ability to easily fulfill our ancient desire for more, our hardwired “scarcity brain” is now backfiring.

Worth a listen. But similar to most of writer's interviews.
Revisado: 01-20-24
The writer tells a captivating story of discovery and intrigued. But the content is an extended version of most of his interviews. AKA: you could save your money and just utilize the free content available online.
If you get a free copy, this is an interesting read. Plenty of thought-provoking info on why we crave what we crave and why our ancestors internal loops affect us today.

Insightful conversation that was too short!
Revisado: 09-05-23
I regularly listen to this podcast and enjoy the content. There are rare guests that I wish were a part of several conversations (Andy Galpin, Peter Attia). This was one that could have easily been in a series!

Historia
A masterpiece of satire, this classic has entertained and enlightened readers the world over with its sly and ironic portrayal of human life and foibles from the vantage point of Screwtape, a highly placed assistant to "Our Father Below". At once wildly comic, deadly serious, and strikingly original, C.S. Lewis gives us the correspondence of the worldly-wise old Devil to his nephew, Wormwood, a novice demon in charge of securing the damnation of an ordinary young man.
