Historia
When Mallon the Undying threatened the land years ago, the elves stopped him - and then disappeared. Now Mallon's followers seek to bring him back to finish what he started. Only the Keepers - storytellers, historians, and magic-wielders - are left to stand against them. Alaric, who betrayed everything he believed to save his wife - and still failed. Will, a storyteller who’s convinced his weak magic makes him useless. And Sini, a former slave girl with unimaginable power but no way to wield it.

Excellence At Every Turn of the Preverbal Turn of the Page

I loved this book so much! I was drawn in immediately by Alaric and the narration. This book is a fantastic twist on many of my favorite, classic tropes that made me fall in love with fantasy in the first place.

Now, as new technological discoveries by Navani Kholin’s scholars begin to change the face of the war, the enemy prepares a bold and dangerous operation. Boom Boom POW!
Revisado: 12-10-22
Kaladin might be one of the saddest boys I’ve ever read. I love his arc, his story, his love, and I feel his pain. My love of Dalinar was let down, as he plays a more back-seat role in this book, which is the only reason the story gets a 4. Adolin and Shallan are great, and upon a second listen, I thoroughly enjoyed the Shadesmar sections, though I did not the first time through. All in, this is my least favorite of the 4, but still a solid 8/10. Performance is outstanding, Michael and Kate are fantastic!

A fantastic piece of fantasy
Revisado: 11-28-22
Overall Thoughts:
This story was fantastic. From characters to plot, worldbuilding and scenes of epic proportions, the whole of it was awesome. But honestly, it was the little moments - those the intimate moments between characters and self-reflection - that really drew me in.
Rating:
There was not a single part or moment that felt askew or too me out of the story. Kris might be one of my new favs, with Willow right behind him. 5/5 for me.
Narration:
Adam did a stellar job, and with the multitude of character accents, dialogue shifts, emotional gravitas, I never felt like it was jarring or miss-timed.
I would 100% recommend!

Great Ending to a Good Story
Revisado: 06-22-22
This was a great ending to a very good story. I would be lying if I said I loved every word of it, but like a stained glass window, the small pieces mean little until placed as a whole together. I was happy with the actual ending of the book as well, well written and evenly paced.

Historia
Tur’Mor, capital of the Republic of Ordiatea and the center of the modern world, is a vast city-state by the sea where the haze of industry and the glisten of steel draws in people from across the continent of Ethrea. At the heart of the Tur’Mor lies two governing authorities, that of the political figureheads and the holy council of the church of Ordan. However, beneath its cobbled streets and immense markets, a cancer sucks at the city-state, threatening to overturn the tender balance of it all.

Historia
After the old gods warred and drove themselves to extinction, the cataclysm of their fall shattered the land of Vigrio. Now, power-hungry jarls carve out petty kingdoms, and monsters stalk the shadow-haunted woods and mountains. A world where the bones of the dead gods still hold great power, promising fame, and fortune for those brave - or desperate - enough to seek them out. As whispers of war echo over the plains and across the fjords, fate follows the footsteps of three people. All three will shape the fate of the world, as it once more teeters on the edge of chaos.

Amazing Narration, Fantastic Story
Revisado: 02-19-22
This might be my new favorite work. The story was compelling and edgy. Everything about it was top notch. The characters were visceral and real, their emotions clearly written in a unique way for each.

Solid entry, but not the best
Revisado: 12-29-21
The story was not my favorite, but was good. I did, however, thoroughly enjoyed the expansion of character work, especially that of Geralt.
The performance was fine, though some of the voices were a little campy.

Historia
Long ago, men harnessed the Channels of Power, creating tevisrals: devices capable of manifesting magic. But men weren't the only ones to accomplish such feats. Dragons crafted the most sophisticated tevisrals. These shaped the world, defining civilization of man and elf alike. Over the centuries, the people of Kalda have fallen into a dark age, where elves are estranged from men and dragons have retreated into legend.

An epic read for any fantasy fan
Revisado: 12-15-21
The story was well realized, with great beats and prose. I thoroughly enjoyed the character work and world-building. Yep, 9/10 for me, the only thing that doesn’t make it perfect, was there was a little slowness in the pacing in the 2/3 of the book, but besides that, amazing read!

10/10 Amazing Read
Revisado: 07-22-21
If you like fantasy, if you like culturally diverse plots, if you like human emotions and discovery, then this is a book you should read. Do not even get me started on the narrator, who did an amazing job. I highly recommend this book to all out there.
