100% informed by men. He doesn’t seem to acknowledge anyone else’s experience except white me. All the references, stories and suggestions are from an old white male perspective.

Historia
A business parable about how to create a start-up that won't trap you when you want to sell it. According to John Warrillow, the number one mistake entrepreneurs make is to build a business that relies too heavily on them. Thus, when the time comes to sell, buyers aren't confident that the company-even if it's profitable-can stand on its own. To illustrate this, Warrillow introduces us to a fictional small business owner named Alex who is struggling to sell his advertising agency.

Great book, TERRIBLE NARRATION
Revisado: 11-23-21
I struggled so much to get through this book because of the bizarre way the narrator performed it. Definitely listen to the sample before buying. I barely could make it through and will NEVER buy another book narrated by this guy. I can’t believe this even passed Audible’s quality control!!

Should be required reading. Amber beautifully weaves together her own experiences with the teachings of many other wise creatives, academics, healers and guides for navigating the modern experience. Huge fan. Highly recommend.

Would not recommend
Revisado: 12-01-17
There was nothing new or original or creative. There are so many better books out there on this subject that are well researched, with authors who have more experience. This felt like a personal journal rather than a book that should have been published. Disappointed that I didn’t learn anything new whatsoever.

Historia
I almost didn't publish Love Yourself Like Your Life Depends on It. I was terrified. Here I was, a CEO who'd fallen apart after his company failed, writing a book about how loving himself saved him. I thought I'd be a laughing stock and my career would be finished. But I stepped through the fears and shared my truth with the world. What happened next changed my life. The book went viral. Amazing people all over shared it online and on social media. They bought copies for friends and family. They wrote heartfelt reviews. For some, this book literally saved their lives.

No passion, almost too simple
Revisado: 02-07-17
The author had absolutely no passion in his voice. If this was so life changing, then express it in a way that inspires others!
The practice "I love myself" is very familiar. It's just like any other affirmation based practice. I much prefer Louise Hay's style and story. His feels uninspired, not very engaging and lacking energy and passion. I wouldn't recommend. It seems unbelievable that it got 5 stars, especially with so many other lackluster reviews. Glad it was only an hour.
