this isn't the diy you'd expect! The 1st 2 chapters was telling all about the ills of store bought cleaning supplies. Chapter 3 starts out to put shells into your bed instead of the shoving crap under there because that will make it more neat! I can't even put one thing under my bed except things I lose! it's an adjustable bed, so it's not closed off. that's where socks go to die a lot! don't waste a credit or the $5 to buy. so far it's ridiculous and bordering on insulting! I'd think any person of average intelligence would know just shoving crap under your bed isn't the best way to organize!

What a beautifully written novel

The other day I was going to do a little deep cleaning and organizing in my catch-all room and its closet. I was only going to spend a couple hours because the job, quite frankly, is overwhelming. I set up my phone in the window sill and turned on Hope Harbor. Imagine my surprise when I was wrapping the job up 8 hours later! A perfectly cleaned, organized and even partially painted room! I didn't want to leave Hope Harbor! It was 2am, the job was done and the bed wasn't calling, it was shouting! There was about 80 mins left and I finished it on my commute. I actually felt a little sad and empty when it was over. There aren't many books that make me feel that way, but I was so deeply enmeshed in the story, the town and it's people I felt like I already missed them. I came on to find another book, imagine my delight to see the word "Book 1" following the title! Yippee! I'm going back to Hope Harbor and I'm so excited. That should be enough to tell anyone how good this book is, without getting into the plot, or any details of the well developed characters that become part of your life as you're listening to this wonderful novel.

I was sure this was part one of a multi-part serie

once the book ended I came over here to find what was the next book in the series because surely this wasn't the end of the story. What a horrible way to end a story with so many unanswered questions and opening new lot lines right at the end. I am usually not frustrated with her books this one was a very frustrating raid and got long and boring sometimes in the middle.
