Interesting idea
Revisado: 02-25-25
I like to call these type of books popcorn books. They are fun. They have a great story line. The narrator is good. But not great American literature. But good. Not 5 stars but good. The ending, well was lacking. It also was a tad confusing on who did what at the end. But again, good.

Great book. Great narration. It has a little of a left field ending but it was still a little bit of twist.

Gripping from start to end
Revisado: 02-04-24
Even though you think you know the story insurance, stay surprised me and Muncy. Usually feel like I can figure them out and enjoy not knowing if this one has me on my toes I listen to it twice just so that I could catch all the tiny little details of the story out.

He was never nice
Revisado: 07-19-23
Ugh I was waiting for the nice guy to show. He was never a nice guy. Plus she’s just dumb and the run around just to solidify the guy was BAD. Went from bad to just way to long. 🤷🏽♀️😕

Two sided tale

Loved the way it weaves two stories into one and the end was totally unexpected. A little long winded in the middle and no real ends are tied.

Oh man eye roll
Revisado: 01-05-23
So I love me some Danielle Steele but this was as cliche as it got. From someone who survived a tragedy similar to this story line it’s almost offensive at times. Young and rich beautiful made beautiful again and then finds a rich man and everyone lives happily ever after. Eye roll.
The trauma just brushed away 16 months later. Ummm no. Sorry this was a terrible credit use.

I wanted to love it so much, but it was so confusing. I had to keep repeating parts. I didn't think there was a twist as much of here's what happened.
Would I buy it again? No
Glad I bought it on sale? yes
I didn't use a credit, so that's fine.
Kinda bummed I loved the reviews and premise
