Too wordy
Revisado: 08-06-24
It needed an editor. Too f often repeated the same phrases & ideas. I like the characters. It just needed to be a little tighter. As with her other books in this series, the ending is a little abrupt.

Too much religion
Revisado: 11-29-22
I absolutely loved the Jerusalem conspiracy. I was a little disappointed with this book. there was a little too much yada yada and too much reference to his faith. I truly appreciate, though, that because of that there is no vulgar language in his books. you don't find that too often these days. I've already bought the next two in the series, so we'll see how that goes.

Worth the listen
Revisado: 10-30-22
I enjoyed listening to this book. So much was going on during this time in history. The reading was choppy in places with inappropriate pausing which distracted me while I was listening.

A bit of adventure and quick cash is all that good-natured drifter Anthony Cade is looking for when he accepts a messenger job from an old friend. It sounds so simple: deliver the provocative memoirs of a recently deceased European count to a London publisher. Little did Anthony suspect that a simple errand to deliver the manuscript on behalf of his friend would drop him right in the middle of an international conspiracy, and he begins to realize that it has placed him in serious danger.
