I usually like BV's stories but this has a huge problem and you probably won't be bothered by it till the 3rd book where the political BS gets too great to continue...
I want books that take me away from the daily corruption of our government, not ones that ruin a good story with this BS

Written well and a rather unique story...I liked the writers style even if he uses way too many big words...as if he's trying to show off his big vocabulary....I don't mind big words (I done gone to college...lol). But this is not the NY Time crossword puzzle...There were no words I didn't know but many you are unlikely to hear in any setting...
The But:
I'm an Athiest. This book has way too much religious BS for my taste....I don't mind basic everyday RBS but this book is ridiculously full of it....so even tho I liked the story and style of writing I will not be continuing with the rest of the series.
Also will probably first look to see who the original book publisher is... in this case Baker Publishing Group...a Christian Book publisher.

Fun but annoying

The fighting with the gun just becomes annoying… I find myself fast forwarding to get past it of which I've never done in any of the 1200 books that I have in my library. And I absolutely hate books that use time date and location at the beginning of chapters. makes it very hard when you fall asleep while listening to book to find where you were. It's too bad because it's a decent story read by the greatest reader of all time… That said if you can get past these complaints you'll enjoy the book

I can't say enough good about this series...BUT!!!
The editors have a few jobs when editing the book/series...
1. Spelling (not needed for the audio obviously)
2. Grammer
3. Continuity
I must say that there are way too many continuity problems from book to book in this series...
No-one wants to do their job anymore....just phone it in and get paid....
Please, Audible, fire your exiting editors and hire some that actually know how to and want to do their job!!!!!
