Very analytical and insightful

Liked everything about this book, learned so much about the music industry and the political as well as spiritual influence if has on populations. Not everything is as it seems, learned some things that were truly shocking and also got another perspective on how the entertainment industry in general is run by agents of deception.
The author has done an excellent job of tying the many different aspects of the music industry together, making for a fluid and easily understood history of important events and of the artists that have shaped musical trends and influenced music lovers of all genres. Was genuinely fascinating to listen to.
Having listened to the first two volumes in the series, and I have started listening to Volume 3. All 3 are also smoothly narrated by the author.
I highly recommend all 3 volumes, the material is easily accessible to all types of music listeners - whether experts, newbies, or those just curious about a subject of enormous importance really, as music is part of the fabric of our lives.
To the author: Bravo!
My only wish is that these had been longer, which I believe is definitely indicative of a well researched, well written book or series.

Almost intolerable

The delivery and content sound vacuous and banal. It’s hard to take the content seriously due to the narrator.

There were about 4 really shocking facts revealed which I of course won’t spoil for future readers. On the whole, it’s hard to feel a lot of sympathy for a woman of extreme privilege. On the other hand, all suffering is relative.
The author had so many red flags waving it’s hard to understand why she got so taken in. The book could have been a lot shorter and had more impact that way.
This book had to be written to clear her good name that’s obvious, although some facts don’t quite add up in the timeline. Clearly she has been used and thrown under the bus like so many before, and so many after.

Very informative!

The narrator is very precise, and reads this very interesting and well researched book with some degree of feeling. However, his tone doesn’t vary much, which is not relaxing. I understand it’s not meant to be light reading - but the narrators voice remains consistently strident, and makes it seem to run together in one big block of events without modulation. I have found this problem can be somewhat mitigated by slowing the speech down somewhat (FYI) 😊
