Good story, bad narration

The story-line is decent enough. An interesting fated mates tale with a magical sidekick. The narration is robotic. over-annunciated and halting speech was very distracting from the story even on increased speed. Unfortunately the story was not interesting enough for me to continue the series especially considering I will try to avoid this narrator in the future.

Fantastic Narration Superb storytelling

Bravo to both the author and narrator! I love this series immensely with the exception of the nectar and what it actually is, uh so gross and I really wish it had been ANYTHING but that.

Terrible Narration

This story is honestly not the greatest, but the narration is downright awful. Both male and female narrators have some serious flaws that really make this book hard to listen to. The man sounds like he is advertising a new Arby's commercial with the tone and pitch in which he speaks, no matter the context or situation in the book. The female narrator is better but still has this way of making the main character sound like an utter dumbass. I actually cringed through this whole book. Yes, the whole thing because I am committed, but I can not see myself continuing the series.
