I honestly love the ties this book had with mentioning certain things from blood and ash series like it did. and I love the fact that the same narrator is in this one too!! she does such a great job with these books I kind of hope it's never ending! I can't wait for the others in this series and the other ones. so excited.

though I'm not a fan of possible love triangles, this isn't so bad once you read it. I read the reviews and was hesitant because of what I was seeing, but I'm glad I didn't listen. it wasn't as bad as I thought and I can some what see from Grace's views on some problems she was facing. though I did have my moments of wanting to smack her for her to stop being such a over the top dramatic or overthinker.
but a decent read non the less with a open mind

idk why most give Collins a hard time, I think he did amazing personally. his voice is a bit deep and sounds more groggy when doing Desial, but in my eyes I still saw them as young men. with all they went through I can see there voices not matching a soft purr like we hear mostly in today's movies and TV shows. I like that it was different and harsh. matches who they were.

Roxy is my spirit animal for real! she's another woman I added to my list of great, strong female characters to look up to. even her darkest parts.
over all, love this book and the narration was amazing from both parties to me!!!!

the story itself was pretty good. I got in to it when I read it on my own, but listening to it was so hard. I had such a hard time telling who was talking and who wasn't most of the time. I believe if it was a different narrator it could make it better.

been a long time since a vampire like romance book caught my attention. I'm so happy I decided to take the plunge and find out if this book was worth it or not. it's worth every heart beat, every arrow that poppy shot, and every moment shared growing to a understand of what love is for her. I've fallen in to the fan base and can't wait to read the others of this series!

this book has had me on the edge of my seat at points, then laughing, then falling for the love, and even anger towards enemies. I can't recommend this book harder for anyone who enjoys steaming love, sarcastic words, banter, and action.

voice actress for me is amazing. words can't describe how awesome it is when these voice actors can change there tones and voices so much to let you know who is speaking. 5 stars isn't enough for this book

what a cliff hanger!!!!! book 4 can't come soon enough!

this book is definitely more heated than the other two. but that is the point, the first two we got teases of the love shared between poppy and Castell, where I'm sure not just myself, wanted to see them grow more together and love each other. then with this book it didn't disappoint, with a healthy mix of details that were answered that was left hanging from the first two, the sarcastic tones, the firey love that you feel, the anger, the power...all I can really say is I'm obsessed with this series! I hope book 4 comes to audible soon and I can listen to the whole series again till I know every word. 5 stars isn't enough.

voice actor was amazing as well! I love it when they can change there tones or voices to match what it should be than just a little bit or have just one voice that is boring or bland. can't wait to hear her again for book 4.

As far as narration, I loved the narrator personally. She actually made her voice different for the male roles more so than I have heard others do and love it! Most just sound the same but she does sound different in those areas which help with the story.

It's sexy too! I quickly became a fan of this series after listening to this at work. I've re listened to this many times over now and love it more every time. Bought the actual book on Amazon as well. Recommend this series 10 times over!
