I have known the Cusack family since high school. This book was so much fun and insightful that I could almost picture everything Tim was telling. I laughed. I gasped and I cried. One of my favorite stories was about the Potluck Bingo. I could picture it all. Mr. Cusack not giving in about the Rooster as a prize. Tim heartbroken for his dad taking “his” Rooster, and the elation on Tim’s face when he got the Rooster back. I cried when he mentioned his sister Ann and her death as I remember what a horrible loss that was. Ann was such a beautiful person. I cried when he told about Sarah, when she died of cancer. I could picture Tim doing his German voice and yelling into the band room at Mr. VanDyke. I could see Tim running down the hall so as not to get caught, in halls that I had walked many times.
Tim, I am waiting for the next book! I will be sharing this one with my kids and my husband and as many people as I can. Loved it and I am going to listen to it again and again. Thank you for the wonderful words, the insight and the laughs!

Some portions were hard to understand. Otherwise a good story. I enjoyed it and believe David is innocent.
