Historia
Julie Maxwell’s life is aglow with the promise of happily-ever-after - a wonderful husband, a new home, and an art studio of her own. She is living her dream, until suddenly, she isn’t. One of life’s random blows changes everything and Julie finds herself in an abyss of fear and grief. Immobilized by tragedy and unable to climb out of her despair, Julie descends into isolation. But life can be as benevolent as it can be cruel, and hope can find you no matter where you are.

Such a deep and meaningful book
Revisado: 02-20-20
Sometimes I forget Julie is a fictional character. She is that real in my memory, and so are the atmospheres in the book-their home, the view. I actually started this book on my honeymoon and because of the subject matter put it down for a couple of years. It was so real, and painted such a searing portrait of the main character's grief, it was too much for me at that time. This is a book I will read again and again. It's a lifetime book, and opened up a much larger perspective on marriage, and the soul of a woman. And in case that is just too much for some, I could simultaneously see this as a delightful animated short or feature! It's message could be accessible to many.
