I thought that Ali Wong was funny, but this book makes her real. She is so insiteful, vulnerable with a funny delivery that I had my teenage son listen to some of the chapters (skipping over parts obviously not meant for teens to hear), which helps him, my little suburbanite, to understand me better as a SF native with the struggles of being different.

I love good parent-child stories. As a mother who has just started climbing and has children that have been climbing for years, this book has helped me to understand them more. I appreciate the acrane terminology that piqued my interest, and will recommend this audio book to my other parent friends.

The story was a great story. I played it for my 8 year old and my 12 year old. The 12 year old was not very interested in the story, but he paid attention to the words. My 8 year old was engaged in the first third of the book, then it slowed down a bit for her, but picked up with the resolutions at the end.
