Too Detailed - Read Like a List for the Market

I was very excited by the jacket in the store and because I was in need of a fix after working through the new Vince Flynn novel.
This however just did not really cut the mustard so to speak. Although enjoyable and detailed, the story is boggled in minutae and odd soft porn that just detract from what could be a action packed spy story.
Premise is good and it probably lends some insight into how you have to shop and prepare for a black op logistics but beyond that it really drags through the 30 odd hours. If it was not for my long commute I would have never finished this.

After listening to two other great novels by this author, I got the abridged one because I was in need of a fix and had a trip. The abridged version is not as good and is really jumpy in the plot line, plus if they say the character name Luk luk one more time... it was as bad as Jar Jar :-) Good story though
