It was pretty good
Revisado: 07-18-25
This was a good story about WWII and how so many families were torn apart. The struggle of one young boy to find his sisters that was taken to the camps was heroic and the good people he met along the way.
The female narrator who narrated the last half of the book needed some better rhythm. Her stop and starting through sentences was a bit hard to listen.
Overall it was a good listen .

Historia
The first time I met Dawson Reed, we wound up in bed. The problem was, neither of us knew the other were there. When I woke up in the middle of the night and found a stranger next to me, instinct kicked in and I attacked the intruder. Only it turned out, the man wasn’t an intruder at all. Dawson had rented this cabin, too. Apparently, a system glitch allowed a duplicate booking. We’d soon find out we were in town for the same wedding, and Dawson was the groomsman I’d been warned about. He was as tall, dark and jaw-droppingly gorgeous as my best friend had described.

Good Book
Revisado: 07-18-25
This was a good listen and it kept my interest. Penelope Ward and Vi Keeland are usually my go to authors when buying fun romance books.
The narrators are excellant as always. This dual narration was not well edited and off the mark with the timing during conversations. The chuckles and laughs were also way off mark and sounded very forced. I’ve heard some great dual narrations and it was hard to get used too. I guess good editing is the key.

Couldn’t get past Chapter 30
Revisado: 07-06-25
Too many people to keep up with. I had no clue what this was all about and where was the point. I had to ditch this one after listening to a few hours. No way.

This is a tough review to write
Revisado: 06-23-25
I love Vi Keeland’s books so much and figured this would be another good one. I knew it was different than her others, butt….
The story itself was okay. I just kept fast forwarding through the parts of so repeating, and repeating and long and drawn out so much nothing in the story. The ending was like pulling teeth. It had some revelations, but why did it take 2 hours to finish?
The Narrator was pretty good, a little too frantic at times for the scene, but oh well.
Could had been so much better with better editing.

Charming, captivating, seductive—and a cold-blooded killer. I married the Pakhan of the Russian Bratva anyway. I had to, it was part of the deal. Now, I’m faking marital bliss as I tremble with fear, and I cannot wait to be out of the clutches of this ruthless man.

Missing so much
Revisado: 06-18-25
Narrators are great. Story was just bamn bamn with no depth or much of a story, They Meet, They kiss and fall in Love, then they are inseparable, and then get married all in a month. He’s a big Mafia Boss and has to marry someone because of WHY??;
None of this is riveting as most Mafia stories I’ve read. Glad it was free, but won’t buy any of the rest of the series.

There's no such thing as a perfect guy, but Xavier Rush comes disastrously close. A gorgeous veterinarian giving Greek god vibes—all while cuddling a tiny kitten? Immediate yes. That is until Xavier opens his mouth and proves that even sculpted gods can say the absolute wrong thing. Like, really wrong. Of course, there’s nothing Samantha loves more than proving an asshole wrong . . . unless, of course, he can admit he made a mistake.

I will never forget this book. ❤️
Revisado: 06-13-25
This dual narration was the best I’ve ever listened too and so well edited. I have stopped listening to books because it was so poorly put together. The Narrators were EXCELLANT !!!
I don’t think I’ve ever listened to a book and not wanted it to end this bad. It had everything!! There was such funny humor. There was awakening truth and very Authentic life story about dementia, and the tough situations of a long distance romance.
It was fantastic. Don’t miss this one.

I couldn’t even get past chapter 10 😳
Revisado: 06-10-25
The reviews were also good and as I started listening to the book, I couldn’t understand why. The narrators and the writing made the character sound ridiculous. It was like listening to the Valley girl on steroids. This one will be returned for sure.

My name is Ryan Kingston, and I’m a rule follower. I’ve never been in a fistfight. I always obey the speed limit. I don’t get drunk, and I definitely don’t pick up random women at bars. Except the night I found out that my whole existence has been a lie. I got drunk. And picked up a stranger. Her name was Queenie, and she was everything I’m not: reckless, impulsive, and chaotic. We did shots and traded secrets. And ended up naked at my place. Six weeks later I’m sitting in the first official team meeting of the season, and there she is.

Could not get into this Back and Forth of years
Revisado: 05-14-25
I can listen to this Narrator read anything. She is wonderful and that’s why I figured I could handle a little crazy ridiculous back and forth of years which I really don’t care for. She is so good but…….
I take a new book to listen to the Gym, yard work, or anywhere I can totally focus on the story. I read the reviews about the back and forth of years and who is who and I wish I would have listened to them. It was so far fetched and even though I was so focused on the story being outdoors and nothing to distract me, I couldn’t get into this. My mind kept wondering off as usually it doesn’t with no distractions. This was so long and nothing to keep my interest to follow these characters back then and now. I see all the WOW WONDERFUL reviews, but they must have a bigger brain to retain all this Who’s Who mess than I do.
Will return this since I used a precious credit.
