Floyd Godrey presents an excellent resource for males dealing with sexualized attachment (bonding and connection) issues. He guides the reader through the complex process of recovery and cautions against expecting a "magical cure" or accepting the labels placed on one by society. He helps the reader see unwanted same-sex attraction as a broken attempt to solve deeper, legitimate needs; and provides valuable insights for meeting those needs in healthy ways. Although the book is written for teens and young men, it summarizes many complex facets of sexualized attachment in a way that is easy to understand and helpful for males of all ages and those who want to gain a deeper understanding. Floyd writes from a compassionate Bilical worldview.

I'm so glad to have the Living Waters guidebook as an audio book. I went through the program in 1999, and it continues to be foundational in my walk with Jesus to this day.

Dr. Doug Carpenter presents an excellent,  deep, academic dive into the world of male sexual abuse. He supplements his research with personal interviews with 13 male sexual abuse survivors to help the reader understand how the concepts taught affect the lives of males who were sexually abused by other males. Dr. Carpenter writes with a secular presentation while remaining faith friendly. Whether the reader is a survivor of male sexual abuse, loves someone who is, or is a caregiver, he or she will find this book and the corresponding workbook extremely helpful in understanding males who were sexually abused by other males.
