Another standout Jack Care novel!
Revisado: 07-01-24
Once again Jack Carr nails it. The details in his writing is unmatched. The worst part about reading one of Mr. Carr’s books, is we have to wait another year for another one.

Lame feel sorry for the Indians

I’m getting tired of the evil white man BS. One side won, one lost. The losing side got special rights over the other side.

Historia
America is under attack. Thousands lie dead after simultaneous strikes across the country. The day will come to be known as Bloody Monday. Jason Trapp, codename ‘Hangman’, was a covert operative whose feats became the stuff of legend. He was the tip of the spear—the man his country unleashed when all hope was lost. Six months ago, someone sold him out. The Agency listed him as killed in action. He lost everything—and everyone—he held dear. But Trapp’s not that easy to kill.

Historia
After taking out a sleeper network, Devin Gray and Marnie Young are picking up the pieces of their disrupted lives. But the gravity of the conspiracy they helped to cripple is sucking them right back into the black hole of violence and subterfuge that nearly consumed them. Another sleeper network is awake. A progressive congresswoman dies in a car explosion, vaporized by an American kamikaze drone—the beginning of the mayhem to come. What Devin dismantled is being rebuilt. The plan: ignite a civil war in the United States and burn America to the ground.

Why get political?
Revisado: 12-20-23
I enjoyed the story and the conclusion of this latest Devin and Marnie adventure. What really stood out was the political rhetoric against everyday Americans who have been lied to for the last 25 years, or as the author referred to them in the book “the right wing”. He portrays Americans who have absolutely no reason to trust the government which has continually lied to them as a bunch of crazy whackos. This really turned me off of Konkoly for future reading.

Historia
Thumbing across the scorched West Texas desert, loner Jack Reacher has nowhere to go and all the time in the world to get there. Cruising the same stretch of two-lane blacktop is pretty Carmen Greer. But for Reacher, the lift comes with a hitch. Carmen's got a story to tell, and it's a wild one. All about her husband, her family secrets, and a hometown that's pure Gothic. She's also got a plan. Jack Reacher's part of it. And before the sun sets, this ride could cost them both their lives.

Very disappointing
Revisado: 02-27-23
I listen to Lee Child for entertainment, not to hear his warped views on politics. Why would he make our border patrol out to be some sort of blood thirsty psychos? Sorry, no more Lee Child for me.

Historia
A call for help from a former colleague leads Maine game warden investigator Mike Bowditch and his girlfriend Stacey Stevens on a sea kayaking trip to a research station far off the coast. Stacey spent summers interning on the island, a sanctuary for endangered seabirds, and they are shocked by the atmosphere of tension they encounter when they come ashore. The biologists are being threatened and stalked by a mysterious boatman who they suspect is trespassing on the refuge late at night.

The author ruined the series
Revisado: 07-02-22
Why must everything contain left wing BS? Why can’t we just have a good story. The author has turned Mike into a SJW, woke liberal. Like everything else, we have to have racism injected into the story. This will be the last book I purchase from this author. The narrator was fantastic.
