Heartwarming story

"The Island of Summer Sunsets" takes readers on a vacation to the South Carolina coast and Fripp Island. This story was heartwarming and enchanting but also realistic as the characters go through their own range of emotions. Janie and Ryan were two great characters to read about and to watch navigate their own new starts after the events in their lives brought them to Fripp Island. There were also tidbits about the bird wildlife on the island which was woven in so well.
I listened to this story on audio and found the narrator, Kaleigh Kirby to be a great fit! The narration felt steady and brought the story to life for me. Thank you to Harpeth Road Press for a gifted copy of the audio! All thoughts and opinions are my own!

Intriguing princess story

I enjoyed this story of a princess who does not want to conform to society's rules for her. Her love for gardening, gives her connections to others in the village and she gains some friendships outside of the castle walls. This story had me wanting to know what was going to happen next and needing more.

Paradise Cove 3

This third book which follows the Holmes family was a great continuation. Each book I have read in this series has felt like I am a friend of the family. Throughout this book, we have a more in depth storyline with Brittany. We also have a continuation of the story lines that were started in the first two books.

I recommend this series for those who enjoy investing in characters over multiple books which Patrice Wilton does a great job of extending.

Return to Paradise Cove

A return to Paradise Cove that makes me want to pack my bags and head for the Keys. In Hooked on You, we get to once again join the Holmes Family as they continue to run their Paradise Cove Cottages. While the first book was mainly focused on Kayla, this one goes in depth with her sister, Taylor. Paradise Cove has it's fun and it's obstacles but take a ride with the family as they show you they can weather any storm. This family makes being in a business with your family look like fun!

Family business in a tropical setting

Paradise Cove sounds like a wonderful getaway in the Florida Keys. It is run by Kayla and her family as they try to rebuild from family tragedy. We are also introduced to Sean who will be having an extended visit in the Florida Keys but why? The relationships in this story had me running through all of the emotions with each person as they were going through them. This was great, quick read that kept my attention and my want to find out more!
