it was fine, not great

performance was above average.
story seemed a little trenchcoat detective. I was hoping for more action thriller. not bad, but the gun info was bad/incorrect and distracting when it was meant to flex and impress.

narrator is just the wrong fit. love these books!

gemmell is my favorite. makes me wish to be rigante in those times. makes you feel and laugh. so real, so close to home. narrator accents are not good. should have a man do the men's voices and she could do the women characters. this is my favorite full series by gemmell. drenai and Troy both are great as well. grymauch is my all time favorite, even though he is almost just a side character.
