MZ With Respect. This is a Home Run!

Mariana Zapata is one of the few writers that I eagerly await her next book. I know there are women who are fanatical fans of MZ. I come to MZ with respect. WOW, this woman has done it again. This book The Best Thing was an absolute great gut wrenching wild ride. Just when I was in such despair with her main character, MZ turns the direction of the roller coaster and here we go flying high again. MZ knows the art of making me feel despair and anger then on the next page forgiveness and fortitude. I just finished the last page. The tears are still flowing, I can’t seem to get my crying under control. This is an absolutely beautiful story from beginning to end. The tears only flow at the end so don’t let me turn you off of this journey. Don’t be afraid. Hop on the MZ roller coaster and enjoy the journey. There is one Hysterical scene that you don’t want to miss. You will know it when you find it. Picture this, I’m driving my 18 wheeler on I-65S in Indiana at 4am. This scene starts with just a little preamble. Now, I’m laughing so hard I’m trying desperately to catch my breath. I’m trying with all of my might not to pee in my seat. I can’t breath. I might pee myself. And I’m trying diligently to not crash off the Interstate. That is the sign that this is a GREAT Mariana Zapata book. I am giving MZ a standing ovation. I am grateful that MZ uses her superpower for good. I am so proud for YOU Mariana Zapata. You hit it out of the ballpark. Thank You!

I really liked this book.

I really liked this book. It has a large family that loves each other and all of the drama that goes with it. Now add in, they are rich and they have hot bodyguards.

Pandemonium kept me entertained

I’m a OTR truck driver. This audio kept me entertained while I drove. The biker story isn’t sexual like most biker books. This story is about the bikers daughter and the cop. Not much biker story to speak of. It moved at a good pace, made me smile, gave me the warm fuzzies and had me wishing I was dating the cop. All in all , I recommend this story. There are few writers who write a story that I want to read combined with actor performances that keep me awake while driving. To me, that is the true test of a story. This one holds up.

Beautiful Slow Simmer Love Story

I enjoyed the way Brittainy Cherry slowly led us down the path to love. While there were heart wrenching parts where I cried, the path didn’t immerse you in the feelings. It dipped you in, brought you out and continued you down the path. I really enjoyed the ride.

Make Dear Aaron, your first Mariana Zapata experience

I am a FAN of Mariana Zapata. Mariana’s best storytelling qualities are in this book. It has heart. It has humor. It has insecurities and a strong woman lead. It pains me to say, this is a miss. If this wasn’t a Mariana Zapata book, I would have stopped this story long ago. For those of you that remember the witty texting banter in Fifty Shades of Grey. This is the G rated getting to know you witty texting that lasts for 15 tedious chapters. I’m heartbroken to say, it doesn’t get better. It’s still light hearted Mariana flavored but it’s not Mariana Zapata compared to The Wall of Winnipeg, Kulti and Lingus. I feel like I am betraying a dear friend and this hurts to write this. If you have never read a Mariana Zapata book and knew of her awesomely high standards for fantastic storytelling, this would be a fine starting place because it’s a cute story and has heart. It’s by no means terrible but when you are an invested fan like me, your waiting for the WOW and this just doesn’t deliver. I’m currently listening to it on audible and the actors are very good. It’s a nice, smooth storytelling banter.

Jake. I like his character. I like he is a good guy.

What didn’t you like about Olga Wilhelmine’s performance?

This is her first audiobook. She has the voice for it but she doesn't have the timing down. I fell asleep a lot while listening to this.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

Yes.

Sweet Story & Lovely Storyteller

I enjoyed this story. I like good hearted people that see the specialness of someone else's quirks. This was a sweet romance. The story was read by a woman with a calming, sweet voice. I enjoyed this treat.

I enjoyed taking Deacon's Journey

Kristen Ashley creates men with unwavering backbone, protection and loyalty. I haven't met those men but until I do, I count on Kristen Ashley's world to give me hope. I have enjoyed every journey I have been on with the men she creates. They are all different and I highly recommend you meet each one of them.
