We were not fans so much of this story as compared to the earlier ones. My 9 year old said, "what kind of ending is that?!" specifically was not happy that nothing happened to the "villains" in the story (i.e. didn't get arrested)

We LOVE this series. It's been a lifesaver for my 8 year old when (alas) mean mom makes him get off screens. Great performance by David Tenet and story entertaining for adults too. Can't wait for next book!

It's easy to understand how this timely book won the Pulitzer. it is a complex book which provokes a lot of thought about trees, what it means to be human and our responsibility to the planet. I'm not sure if this has been a good choice during this pandemic. it may be that this increased isolation has permitted more thoughtful processing. I'm sure it will be a must-read for many generations

What a Gem!

This book was just what I needed while catering to the whims/whines of my sick family over Winter Break. The story is fantastic but I think it is the narrator's voice - Minnesota *spot on* - that really sells this funny read. I don't think this book would be as good in paper or kindle form as it is enjoyable a listen. I think for listeners/readers who've enjoyed Where'd you Go Bernadette, Big Little Lies and Eleanor Oliphant is Completely Fine, you'll surely enjoy this. Cheers!

We love these book. I read them to my daughter when she was 4. Now we're listening to them with my 8 year old son. keeping us all entertained on a car trip. Listeners should be aware that the narrator's volume can be very inconsistent
