I am enjoying the series of books and am happy I stumbled across them. I normally enjoy the narrator as well but on this book his breathing and mouth noises got ony nerves. Every inhale was loud and the mouth noises at times were almost too much. Maybe he was sitting too close to the mic...I don't know but I sure hope it doesn't continue on the next book.

What was this?!?

I am listening to this series but I have no idea what this extremely short, no real beginning or ending was supposed to be. It was like the writer decided she need a few more characters and didn't want to introduce them in another story line or maybe she needed to throw a quick book together. The first two books were amazing. Really not sure what this book was supposed to do.

Great listen

This is my first book by Bethany Adams and I really enjoyed the story. I look forward to listening to more of her work. The female narrator did an amazing job bringing the characters to life. Really surprising the range she has and was impressed. The male narrator has an impressive deep voice. The issue I had was when he would try and use a feminine tone for a female character. He just couldn't pull it off.

Great Series

I admit that on the first book of the series, the first half of the book was okay but by the middle of book one I absolutely was hooked. One of the best series. PERFORMANCE- hands down this was one of the best narrators. Voice perfect, brought characters to life and no "mouth noises" or heavy breathing.

Excellent book with hands down the best narrator

This series is excellent. By the middle of the very first book I was hooked. You get drawn in and as soon as one book ended I download the next.
The narrator is hands down my favorite ever. I like her characters voices and her natural voice...well there is just something pleasant about it. And as an added bonus, no annoying mouth or breathing noises. :)

Good first book

While this started off slow....slow enough I thought about stopping and finding something else. I am glad I didn't because this books draws you in. I have already downloaded book 2. Well worth the slow start.

excellent book

First, the narrators really out did themselves. His voice was enough to make me melt. This was the perfect combo of a great story and narrators bringing the characters to life.

could handle the narrator

seriously couldnt get past chapter 2 due to the narrator. not only is she a bit monotone but she reads a sentence and then inhales loudly to get through the next sentence. When I say loudly I mean like she ran around the block. It is sad a narrator ruins a book.

Great stories with one small complaint

love the story lines and they each had a different scenario. Foind the performances wonderful too. My only complaint was book took and the statement, "let the record show" so annoying and repetitive I found myself considering skipping the book because it was too overused. But these writers do know how to write steamy love stories.

I read some of the reviews before listening. I have no idea why some people complained about the narrator. I really enjoyed her voice and performance. Hope to find more books she has narrated. As for the book itself, it was a feel good romance all around and am looking forward to the 2nd book I just downloaded.
