Headphone Wearers Beware

I enjoyed it, it was interesting, liked the narrator and the sound effects are really cool however if you listen with your headphones some of the sound effects can be really sharp even on lower volumes, couple made my ears ring for a bit, but the world cup part was very fun to listen to.

Historia
In 1941, Marie Jalowicz Simon, a 19-year-old Berliner, made an extraordinary decision. All around her, Jews were being rounded up for deportation, forced labor, and extermination. Marie took off her yellow star, turned her back on the Jewish community, and vanished into the city. In the years that followed, Marie lived under an assumed identity, forced to accept shelter wherever she found it.

Worth the listen
Revisado: 06-03-20
I'll admit it took me three tries to get past the introduction, but once I did I enjoyed it. Fascinating to hear how someone survived against their greatest enemy in plain sight for three years, even if some of the methods leave you disgusted on different ways. The Narrator is precise and clear although from a story telling perspective you do get lost in the many different names of people and there isn't much to really set them apart so multiple characters ended up blended in as one. I recommend this anyone who enjoys autobiographical stores, stories of survival, and/or stories of Jewish survival in WW2.
