Historia
The Homiletical Plot, Expanded Edition follows in the same solid tradition of its predecessor. Upon its release, The Homiletical Plot quickly became a pivotal work on the art of preaching. Instead of comments on a biblical passage, Lowry suggested that the sermon follow a narrative form that moves from beginning to end, as with the plot of a story. This expanded edition continues to be an excellent teaching resource and learning tool for all preachers, from introductory students to seasoned clergy.

Excellent overview of inductive preaching

While it is a broad topic to cover I would have appreciated more detailed discussion of the phenomenological move sermon.

Good reader
Revisado: 06-23-23
Reading Lewis is always helped by listening to a good reader. The performance made a required assignment so much easier.

McCracken directs us to a deeper understanding of wisdom, its source and pursuit in a culture that increasingly robs our lives of meaning and purpose.

At times unbelievable
Revisado: 10-12-18
While I enjoyed the book and by the end I thought it a good read, at times I found the plot a little too obviously contrived and Mae Dodd’s character a little too present-day politically correct in her world view for a woman of the 19th century. However, by the time I arrived at the conclusion I was crying for some of the characters.
