Historia
It all begins with a hot-air-balloon trip and three bottles of champagne. Allan and Julius are ready for some spectacular views, but they’re not expecting to land in the sea and be rescued by a North Korean ship, and they could never have imagined the captain of the ship would be harboring a suitcase full of contraband uranium on a nuclear-weapons mission for Kim Jong-un. Yikes! Soon Allan and Julius are at the center of a complex diplomatic crisis involving world figures from the Swedish foreign minister to Angela Merkel and President Trump.

Some books don't need a sequel
Revisado: 06-11-22
I absolutely loved the first book - had the perfect end and was hilarious. The sequel is a bit forced, missing some plot-points and characters (what happened to the Allan's wife?!?) - it seemed more like a political vent session for the author and lost a lot of the original charm. Also, it's a great frustration of mine when narrators change - Peter Kenny did a good job but the narrator of the first book was so amazing that they should have kept him (though I could see why he maybe wouldn't want to participate in this production given the quality change of the story).

brought me back in time

I met a kindred spirit on this book and re-examined life through the spirited, imaginative eyes of a child. Delightful, thoughtful, soulful.
