We're not free to give into this. She's 19, and I'm 38. And I'm her boyfriend's father. Unfortunately, they both just moved into my house.

This book...oh, this book! It's been a long time since a book captivated my attention through the entire thing and gave me constant feels. These characters were absolutely relatable in every way and you couldn't help but fall in love with each of them and choose sides right away. The narrators could not have been more perfect at bringing them to life. Tears flowed, anger spread, butterflies flew...exactly what I expect from this author. I will continue to devour every story this woman publishes!

Historia
Abby has been through hell and has survived one of the most brutal childhoods imaginable. To the outside world, she is just a loner with an attitude. When her grandmother dies in a tragic explosion, Abby is left with questions - and nothing else. Homeless, sleeping in a junkyard, and on the run from a system that has failed her over and over again, she meets Jake, a tattooed, blue-eyed biker with secrets that rival her own. Two broken souls that can't be healed. They can't be saved.

Love the Dark

I absolutely did not want this story to end! There was so much raw emotion in the story-telling itself, and the narrators brought these characters to life perfectly. I've re-listened to my favorite parts at least 5 times since finishing it.

Historia
Four years ago, I had it all, until one night changed everything. Now, I am trapped in a prison of lies where my heart is locked away with my secrets. Rage has stirred things in me I thought I could never feel again. He thinks he can get through. But I can’t give in. I mustn't, for his sake and mine. I won’t let the ghosts of my past hurt anyone else.

I can't tell you enough good things about this story! As an MC romance, it's got it all...the club, the brotherhood, a little grittiness, the danger. As a dramatic romance, it's got it all...the suspense, the danger, the building connection between the main characters. I LOVED this story. Juliet is not your typical woe-is-me gal who needs saving from the big bad of the story. No, she's got spunk and independence, but still teeters on the edge of vulnerable. Rage is not your typical alpha. He's returning to his turf, his club, his ring, and just happens to spy someone who interests the hell out of him. The give and take between these two characters was very real. The supporting cast of characters had personalities that were well-developed. And I love that there is just enough of a teaser at the end to lead into more installments in the series. I still can't believe this is the author's first book because it's just so well-written and flows so well! I will definitely be looking forward to whatever Zara Teleg decides to give us in the future. As an audiobook, the narrators are perfect! The tone, pitch, syntax--everything, really--brought the story to life for me. Definitely worth all the stars available!

Historia
In fifth grade my teacher set us up with pen pals from a different school. Thinking I was a girl, with a name like Misha, the other teacher paired me up with her student Ryen. My teacher, believing Ryen was a boy like me, agreed. It didn't take long for us to figure out the mistake. And in no time at all, we were arguing about everything. The best take-out pizza. Android vs. iPhone. Whether or not Eminem is the greatest rapper ever. For the next seven years, it was us. She's the only one who keeps me on track, talks me down, and accepts everything I am.

Didn't want it to end

Fantastic narrators for such a fantastic story. I'm extremely picky when it comes to audiobooks because I have to be able to visualize the character matching the voice, and these narrators were perfectly spot-on. The pace of the storytelling is very good and kept my attention the entire time. I found myself not wanting to miss even the tiniest detail. 5 Stars all around!
