Well, everyone has an opinion.
Revisado: 12-13-16
I listened to the whole book, even though my indications hinted at misguided theology and theory. It's a little bit of a force-this-down-your-throst type of approach at various points in the book. The authors claim that if I, the reader, didn't accept the validity of their claims, it is evidence that I'm subconsciously resistant and unwilling to change. An argument such as that is indicative of potentially unhealthy logic. I see it as dangerous as it could cause someone to inaccurately apply concepts to their life, causing more damage than good.
I gathered some useful information from their theory, but I recognize that they are viewing the world through their own unique grid, as we all do. Some of their expressed perspectives were limited in scope and understanding; trusting a horoscope to reveal insight into ones own marriage is too infantile in my opinion.

Christians often focus so much on being loving and giving that they forget their own limitations.

Great insight for all relationships!
Revisado: 11-25-16
At first, this Christian book went against my Christian beliefs about what it does and does not mean to love those around me. Actually, I just didn't understand healthy, biblical boundaries accurately. Couple this book with The Anger Trap and I've made phenomenal changes in my relationships, especially in my own home. I really was backwards on a lot of my thought processes about relationships (and that's after obtaining a B.A. in Psychology with a 4.0gpa). This book is insightful. I'm glad I looked past the not so pleasant way it sounds at first. I just got used to it and then started to learn.

Historia
Escape the enemy's deadly trap! The Bait of Satan exposes one of the most deceptive snares Satan uses to get believers out of the will of God - offense. Most people who are ensnared by the bait of Satan don’t even realize it. Don’t be fooled! You will encounter offense, and it’s up to you how it will affect your relationship with God. Your response will determine your future. If offense is handled correctly, you will become stronger rather than bitter. John Bevere shows you how to stay free from offense and escape the victim mentality.

Can we earn salvation by being unoffended?
Revisado: 10-26-16
I struggle with the idea that we are daily impacting our salvation based on how well we forgive. This is contrary to salvation based on grace so that no one can boast. The book had a very valid point in that if we withhold forgiveness, it will be withheld by God. However, the author seems to have forgotten that God knows our frame and remembers that we are from dust (Psalm 103). We cannot perfectly forgive others, because if we could do any task perfectly, we would progress towards not needing a savior. Read the book with discerning wisdom. If you are overly scrupulous, read with caution. Do not get tricked into thinking we can earn God's love and grace by impressing Him with our methods of human interaction. I derived helpful information from the book, but won't likely recommend it to my friends.

Historia
It's easy to identify rage in people who lose their temper at traffic jams, unruly children, unresponsive coworkers, and unrealistic bosses. But we may not recognize more subtle manifestations of anger, such as being uncomfortable with loose ends, acting impatiently, or being overly critical. That is anger, too. And, as is so often the case, angry folks don't seem to realize that the behavior causing them problems at home or at work actually stems from unrecognized and unresolved pain and emotional injuries from the past. Is all this negative emotion inevitable, or are there choices about how to respond.

Worth rereading several times to derive more information from it. I'm on my second time through. Very helpful and thoroughly composed.
