Historia
In his landmark best seller The Tipping Point, Malcolm Gladwell redefined how we understand the world around us. Now, in Blink, he revolutionizes the way we understand the world within. Blink is a book about how we think without thinking, about choices that seem to be made in an instant, in the blink of an eye, that actually aren't as simple as they seem. Why are some people brilliant decision makers, while others are consistently inept?

Many ways to use
Revisado: 10-17-05
I seem to be going against the recent flow here, and that is why I am doing a review. Blink had many 5's in the beginning and that is what it deserves. This writer (name slips me at the moment) does a great job of over researching and then blending the stories in a way that makes it so easy to listen from start to finish.
Anyone who has the slightest interest in business should find more than enough to merit the investment in time and money for this book. If you have your own business it makes you think, "what is the image we are portraying to the public?" and also to start tweeking your first impressions to see how it affects the bottom line. I personally have had some of these gut reactions to investments and know how important they can be. The thing is most people don't take the time to try and fine tune their own intuition to a point to make sense of this whole idea of Blink.

Should be on the recommendation list
Revisado: 11-10-04
I was never what you would call a big Johnny Cash fan just really liked his video Hurt, but this is an excellent story. The reader's voice also matches the story to a T. I can't write a review that does the book justice, but if you want to listen to a biography that follows a life of ups and downs with no regrets, learn about a man of faith who knew he was a sinner and knew the true power of Christianity not the hypocritical, religious right version that has become so vogue these days, then this is a worthy listen. You don't have to be a fan of country music in order to gain from this book, if you like to read books on success, or on how to make a comeback you can't get much better than this one. Mr. Cash was certainly a man who took what talent he had and made the most of it.

Did I miss something??
Revisado: 09-08-04
Are you people serious, or are you just so in love with the RNC that you give a 5 star to anyone. Folks, this was not a powerful speech, it was a bad joke. But hey, if you give 5 stars to Zell Miller too, can we really take your opinion seriously?

Knows his stuff

I can't see any business owner in the world not being pleased with this purchase. Extremely well researched, great insights and one idea implemented properly will pay you well.Good works deserve good reviews, I would actually give it a 4.5, but I went with the 5 for two reasons, one it is closer to a 5 than a four and I saw an undeserved three so the book deserves this five. I truly enjoy when I find a book written by someone who takes pride in their subject and this author comes across as someone who loves to figure out why people buy, and how to increase sales.

Best $9 spent in a long time!!!
Revisado: 02-26-04
I have heard and read some of his ideas before, but I think he puts everything all together in a nice tight package. I have also attended seminars put on by writers who could write, but couldn't speak (or at least speak in a way that kept me from going into a trance) but that is not the case with this presenter. Right from the start it is easy to tell the presenter WANTS to help others and therefore enthusiastically presents his material. As I said in my title, best $8.95 spent in a long time.
