Masterpiece. Utter masterpiece. An amazing story like only Andy Weir can tell. I was so happy that Ray Porter narrated too. Two of my favorites came together in a once in a lifetime experience. A++++

Scratches so many itches.

This book, as with the rest of Jeremy Robinson's works, has you following along trying to answer the questions he's feeding you to ask, but when the book is over you have to take a step back. It's like when you're done watching a series, the screen goes black, and you see yourself in the screen's reflection. You're so engaged in what's going on, but when it's over, only you remain, and you ask those same questions about your own experience. Masterfully done, as usual. Thank you for this experience.

Don't think, just buy it.

If you're a Joe Ledger fan you don't need this review, because you already bought it; for everyone else, you need to be a Joe Ledger fan. I'm not even finished with the book yet, but wanted to get this out. This is 100% true. I have a white german shepherd named Ghost because of this series. That being said, THANK YOU for including the Ghost origin story. He's my partner, and I love the book version as much as I love my own pup.

Better than expected.

Watched season 1, finished Wild Hunt, and now finished this book; in that order.

This book makes the chaos of the series make more sense.

The game helps fill out a lot of the lore.

Looking forward to the rest of the books.

Not my favorite narration ever, but far from the worst.

Great Start

It was sort of risky getting this fresh after release with only 20 reviews. That being said, it was definitely worth the buy. I'm excited to see where it goes from here. It feels like the author is heavily influenced by Firefly. This first story is setting the stage for some pretty wild adventures.

Amazing Story

Outer limits + Star Trek + Limitless + Sherlock = The Fold

I cannot emphasize enough how great this story is. It scratches all of the itches I have for sci-fi, quantum physics, and suspense.

Ray Porter is quickly becoming one of my favorite narrators, and Peter Clines is a master smith of story telling.

Do yourself a favor and get this one.

FI-VR EverQuest FTW

I can't believe how amazing this book is. I only leave reviews when I am absolutely stunned at the story and performance. Luke Daniels does a phenomenal job, as always. The story is amazing and seems heavily influenced by the original EverQuest. What an amazing piece of work. If you play MMOs you need to get this book. Just get it.

Wonderful Tale

Amazing production of an amazing story. I listened to the tale of Shadow's journey while traveling America myself. It was a great experience that I will not forget, and highly recommend.

I've worked through 106 books over the past two years, and this is easily in my top 3. Do yourself a favor and listen to this one. It has a believe scif-fi story, and a very lovable and relatable main character.
