Luke Russert is the child of two legendary parents. He faced his grief, over the loss of his father, with tremendous honesty and grace. I think that Luke spoke for many people who found the road to individuation to be challenging.
Luke, is a rare man of integrity in a world where artifice is the norm.

A great book on business with imagination!

The thoroughness of the issues covered, was extremely important. Understanding the internal and external challenges, and the explanations of how they had impacted the outcomes. A very strong book that can be enormously valuable to many small giants, who don’t know what to call themselves.

What a mind, what mirth and what passion

To say that I love this book would be an understatement. Azar Nafisi is a thought provocateur. She asks the reader to join her on a journey to resuscitate literature and to examine what the authors may have understood about life. Few writers have made me as full of joy, as we have tackled some of the darkest challenges of history.

Adam Wade is a National Treasure

Adam Wade is a gentle man. He is a man who was raised in a loving family, who did not forget their lessons. He tells stories of navigating the world through challenges that appeared daunting to his younger self, only to become victories, as he allowed his family-instilled values to guide his choices of response. Adam is a gift and his stories made me laugh and cry. Thank you, Audible, for introducing me to this lovely man! Keep swinging that bat Adam!

I cannot explain this book, but I can tell you that I love it. You simply must experience it. I found the audio book to be compelling. Now I want to hold it in my hands.

Beyond Powerful

I have been a hospice social worker for over 15 years. I am married to an Internist and the subject of our mortality is a frequent subject of discussion. Dr. Gawande’s words were received like a soothing balm to my soul. I feel that this book should be required reading for anyone practicing medicine and all hospice staff. Thank you, for your candor,courage and compassion.

Just what I needed, just when I Found it!

I have lost two friends in the last week. My heart was broken and bruised. I remembered I had downloaded this book, and I chose to listen to it on the last day of a vacation gone terribly wrong. Not sure what the universe is trying to tell me, but I do know why I chose to listen to this book. Thank you, Brene Brown.
