Daughter’s Determination
Revisado: 12-02-24
This is a rare podcast that was very well put together and presented. I have to say I clocked in for work late twice while listening. Hopes and prayers to a determined daughter.

Surprisingly Entertaining
Revisado: 10-18-24
Almost didn’t finish Book One when I heard Kane initially speak. His voice was not what I imagined in my mind. I am so glad I continued listening. The storyline, the characters, the performances, I became so engrossed I even clocked in late for work one morning. If you’re looking for a twist on the usual “Werewolf” story…this is it!!

Exactly what I was looking for
Revisado: 09-28-22
As the title states this audible is exactly what I was looking for. Matt Stone did an excellent job narrating and was easy to listen to and comprehend while driving without being distracting. In the past couple months of following S.J.’s tactics I have not only gain more insight on myself but have gained energy by following the morning routine. The weight loss has been fun too. Thank you S.J. and Matt I look forward to listening to more of your audibles. ~Victoria

Historia
Have you ever wondered how the lives of great composers-especially when set against the social, political, and cultural context of their world-influences their music? After listening to this perceptive series of eight lectures on the life and music of Ludwig van Beethoven, you will likely find that you hear his work in an entirely different way, your insight informed by new knowledge of how Beethoven was able to create masterpieces from the crises of his life. You'll learn about the years of progressive hearing loss-ultimately to produce total deafness-and the understandable agony and rage such a fate would bring upon a composer. About his deep depression over the end of his relationship with the woman he calls his Immortal Beloved. About his pathological hatred of authority, his persecution complex, even delusional behaviors. But you'll also learn how each of these crises, and many others, served to drive Beethoven inward, to reinvent himself and redeem his suffering through art, creating disruptive works of profound passion and beauty that reinvented the nature of musical expression in the Western world.

Robert Greenberg Scores
Revisado: 07-27-22
Robert Greenberg is absolutely amazing. We, as a family, will look for more lectures ‘performed’ by him. In the beginning there were eye rolls; after the first lecture listening through to the conclusion became an event of the evening. Thank Audible and thank you Robert Greenberg!

Stumbled on this book looking for something else. This has been the best stumble I’ve ever had. First I am NOT a reader so the simplicity of the “message” given is wonderful. With each new bug I thought, “that’s so me. No wait that one is me.” It wasn’t until close to the ending I realized I have different needs and wants for every room in my home. Thank you Cassandra Aarssen you have helped change my piles, inside & outside closets, into a happy-time saving-functional home. Forever grateful your Platypus of bugs
