Susan Denaker does this book justice. I forget I'm listening to the same person and she makes me feel all that is happening. Tamora Pierce has always been one of my favorite authors and I recommend her books to anyone at any age. I think I read Alanna when I was in 9th grade and stayed hooked, rereading all of her books many time.
