I was so excited to go to listen to this but I am disappointed

I have just listened to cozy and then to the book about her divorce happens every day. I loved listening to her voice reading her story. I was so looking forward to hearing it once again in the resolution of getting through the divorce and then finding happiness but to my great disappointed there was a woman that sounded nothing like her was very theatrical and older. She didn’t sound like she was reading a memoir at all. I particularly love books narrated by the author , especially memoirs. To my it should be a no brainer that they read their story. And she had read the first and last so why not the sequel . I too have gone through a horrific divorce and was just loving the connection I felt with her and listening to her first book and was very hard but good . I was hoping to get the uplifting second half.
I’m my opinion , she should record this book and get the other one off the site .

Historia
After backpacking her way around Europe journalist Sarah Turnbull is ready to embark on one last adventure before heading home to Sydney. A chance meeting with a charming Frenchman in Bucharest changes her travel plans forever. Acting on impulse, she agrees to visit Fredric in Paris for a week. Put a very French Frenchman together with a strong-willed Australian girl and the result is some spectacular - and often hilarious - cultural clashes.

Got better as it went along

I really liked this book ( the narrator was super) my only criticism is that I didn’t get a sense of romance and love that would make a woman take a big chance on a move like this . I wanted to feel more of the love story . The beginning left me wanting that in the set up . It was all very practical . I did like all the stories about living there and her description of everything but wanted more of why she/ he fell in love . Interestingly, I got the same sense about that the dog. Ha ha . Didn’t sense that she loved her but was more annoyed by her bad behavior . My dogs are naughty too but I would describe that and in the next sentence tell you why I am crazy mad in love with their cuteness:)
I love this genre and I think this book was a very good listen .
