Historia
What skills do you need to succeed today? How can you make better choices? In today's fast world, it's important to have certain skills for success. With so much fake news and information everywhere, critical thinking and logic are crucial. These skills help us think well and make good decisions. They help us understand why things are how they are, figure out what influences them, and come up with ways to make things better. One of the reasons most of us fall short in thinking critically is that our educational system doesn't teach critical thinking.

A really good tool for good skills
Revisado: 12-20-24
While I would definitely recommend the physical book copy, the narrator does a good enough job describing the charts within that you could simply copy them down. This would be a good addition to school curricula to teach junior high or have high school or college students read. The books do well stacked together as they are and give both the theoretical along with practical steps to improve your critical thinking skills.
My one gripe that would take this down to a 3.5 if I could would be the narrator. He did a good job through most of the book, but some places I did have to repeat or miss some of the following words because I was still trying to decipher the last sentence. And hearing a man say "whistle-bait waist" just felt off to me, though he couldn't very well help that.

A Fun Fae Fascination
Revisado: 12-02-24
I've always wanted to try this and finally got the chance by accident. Surprisingly, I don't mean this book or even author but reading a book with out knowing its past. I came into The Scented Court with this book, book three, and yet it was still done super well! I didn't read everything when picking out this book and stepped into the middle of a story, but the way A.L Knorr presents it I wasn't actually lost and could figure out pieces of lore from the story's flow without even needing a recap chapter.
This continuation of The Scented Court featured Jessamin, Sasha, Lake, and Chifta with a few important cameos from beyond Solana. Sarah's trial for protecting Lady Chifta, Chifta discovering herself, Jess doing everything possible to help Sasha, and Lake doing his best for Chifta. We see Chifta history with her, Jess get rules changed with her friends, Lake getting freezer burn, and Sasha rewarded for his alleged murder.
