The truth is still out there. The iconic hit that had millions searching for UFOs back in the 90s is now an exhilarating audio event, only from Audible. David Duchovny and Gillian Anderson reunite as FBI Special Agents Fox Mulder and Dana Scully, joining an ensemble of original cast members in an out-of-this-world production.

it's easy to see that the players are not used to "radio" drama. Duchovny seemed disterested. Anderson and Pillegi tried hard to make it work, though. Writing was mediocre, as well. Don't recommed it.

Historia
“Long live the King” hailed Entertainment Weekly upon publication of Stephen King’s On Writing. Part memoir, part master class by one of the bestselling authors of all time, this superb volume is a revealing and practical view of the writer’s craft, comprising the basic tools of the trade every writer must have. King’s advice is grounded in his vivid memories from childhood through his emergence as a writer, from his struggling early career to his widely reported, near-fatal accident in 1999—and how the inextricable link between writing and living spurred his recovery.

Stephen King's Very Honest Insight Into Writing
Revisado: 05-01-17
Stephen King wonderfully and honestly shares his personal insights into writing and life that should motivate and instruct fellow writers, new and old. His distain for adverbs is humorous and helpful in purging unneccesary words ftom one's draft. An editor's dream.

Historia
You have probably heard the term Old School, but what you might not know is that there is a concentrated effort to tear that school down. It's a values thing. The anti–Old School forces believe the traditional way of looking at life is oppressive. Not inclusive. The Old School way may harbor microaggressions. Therefore, Old School philosophy must be diminished. Those crusading against Old School now have a name: Snowflakes. You may have seen them on cable TV whining about social injustice and income inequality.

Disappointed
Revisado: 04-09-17
i understand what the authors were putting forth, and I'm glad that the proceeds of sale of this book are going to charity but, as I moved through the book, I kept thinking, "Well, that's obvious". I already knew that, as a kid who grew up mostly without caring parents, I was on my own. That's about as "old school" as it gets. Pointing out the difference between O.S. and Snowflake standards may "ring a bell" for guys like me, but it won't phase Snowflakes because they truly believe they have evolved beyond us O.S. people.

Will Robie escaped his small Gulf Coast hometown of Cantrell, Mississippi, after high school, severing all personal ties, and never looked back. Not once. Not until the unimaginable occurs. Unlike the missions Robie undertook in the service of his country, where his target was clearly defined, digging into his father's case only reveals more questions. Robie is drawn into the hidden underside of Cantrell, where he must face the unexpected and possibly deadly consequences of the long-ago choices made by father and son.

Historia
Danish countess Karen Blixon, known as Isak Dineson, ran a coffee plantation in Kenya in the years when Africa remained a romantic and formidable continent to most Europeans. Out of Africa is her account of her life there, with stories of her respectful relationships with the Masai, Kikuyu, and Somali natives who work on her land; the European friends who visit her; and the imposing permanence of the wild, high land itself.

Ms. Harris' reading of this famous work by Isak Dennison's memoir of her life in East Africa is tender yet gripping. The writing is one of the best examples of Dennison's much renowned descriptive prose. One feels as though one shares the experiences of this wonderful land.

Historia
In September 1960, John Steinbeck and his poodle, Charley, embarked on a journey across America, from small towns to growing cities to glorious wilderness oases. Travels with Charley is animated by Steinbeck’s attention to the specific details of the natural world and his sense of how the lives of people are intimately connected to the rhythms of nature—to weather, geography, the cycles of the seasons. His keen ear for the transactions among people is evident, too, as he records the interests and obsessions that preoccupy the Americans he encounters along the way.

Historia
A poignant look at the disillusionment and angst of the post-World War I generation, The Sun Also Rises introduces two of Hemingway’s most unforgettable characters: Jake Barnes and Lady Brett Ashley. The story follows the flamboyant Brett and the hapless Jake as they journey from the wild nightlife of 1920s Paris to the brutal bullfighting rings of Spain with a motley group of expatriates. In his first great literary masterpiece, Hemingway portrays an age of moral bankruptcy, spiritual dissolution, unrealized love, and vanishing illusions.

Hemingway at His Best
Revisado: 01-12-16
Hemingway's insightful character study of post World War I supposed care-free, heavy drinking vactioners in Europe exposes just how vapid their high-society lives actually are. Masterfully read by William Hurt, accents and all, the reading puts you amid the action, as well as insight into Hemingway's often flawed characters.
