REALLY struggled through this one

The story is a snoozefest and the narration is horrible! Trying to connect with these characters has been brutal. I’ve listened to all of the True North series multiple times so I thought the Busy Bean series would be fun being a spinoff but this one is a no go. Glad it was included in the plus catalog. Not worth a credit for sure!

Another fantastic story from Catherine Cowels! I’ve listened to or read everything she’s published and this one has my whole heart! Zachary Webber, what can I say about his performance in this story?! He knocked Anson’s character out of the park! My favorite narration of his (and I’ve listened to so many), he really encompassed who Anson was for me. Worth all the stars and the credit!

It’s a little better than ok

At first I wasn’t sure I was going to make it through this one. As much as I love Tim Paige, Cindy Kay almost completely ruins it all. She should stick to narrating children’s books not romance. Tim is the saving grace. Not my favorite story from Piper Rayne but it’s cute and light hearted.

2nd listen for me and Vance is for sure another book boyfriend and Connor really brings Vance to life. Another perfect 10 for Connor Crais! Lucy Rivers is a much better Lyla than she was Elouise! Story is of course another 10!

I'm not sure how this title has 5 stars. There is no meat and absolutely zero plot. The narrators did a fantastic job but the story is so lacking. Don't waste a credit with this one.

I absolutely love Susan Stoker but this is an absolute snoozefest of a book and being the first of the series, I imagine the entire series will be a dud...Makes me sad b/c I adore this author so much, I have 50+ of her titles but this is a no go, I managed to get through 8 chapters but I just can't finish it...don't waste your credits on this series, save them for ANY of her others on Audible...
