Historia
“Before I can begin my tale, you need to know about the king's panties.” So begins the epic adventure of 14-year-old Nigel, digger of latrines, shoveler of poop, and the single greatest threat to all the humans, elves, and halflings of Esteria. Nigel needs to escape from military school. Who can blame him? After all, the king just declared war on the gorks, and he's pretty sure his latrine-digging skills aren't going to be much good on the front lines.

Homosexual ☹️
Revisado: 07-02-22
I’m sad for two reasons: one it’s a really good idea for a book are the author is pretty good and I feel it was wasted, and two that I will be hated and looked down soon for not liking homosexuality, if it is a belief or a fact don’t I get to choose wether to agree with it or not without being called a bigot or a hater? I agree with jen001 it shouldn’t be so forced upon the reader, he’s fourteen and this is a child’s book, if homosexuality is good then don’t confuse kids at this time in their lives when they are learning how the world works and how they work and who people are. Let them know these things like all other things when they are more mature. I feel like a lot of people don’t care but I do, I can’t find a lot of books these days without the LGBTQIA+ being forced into our brains as okay. I don’t think you the author is a bad guy you’re a good writer but I ask that please make children’s books children’s books.I should have read the comments before I started.

Historia
Paul Adams is the shortest kid at his high school, and the school bullies relentlessly pick on him. He spends the entire day wishing school would end so he can escape to his favorite sport of rock climbing. Lily Small is athletic, attractive, and, despite her last name, is actually very tall. Another kid, who looks almost like a grown man, introduces himself with a long Polynesian name, but says everyone calls him "Big," and he seems to like the nickname! As they get to know each other, Paul, Big, and Small discover they have a lot in common as outsiders in their high school.

Wow. Just wow.
Revisado: 05-29-21
That was the most beautiful fictional book I have ever read. Lovely, touching, heart warming, and relatable. Seeing Paul’s growth, his attitude and insurgence to hardships is encouraging and so sweet. Bigs optimism and Lilies courage help Paul grow to not be afraid, and be ready to help a friend whenever someone needs you. Definitely a book worth reading, not at all dull or slow, easily my favorite.

Historia
Addie loves nothing more than curling up on the couch with her dog, Duck, and watching The Great British Baking Show with her mom. It's one of the few things that can help her relax when her OCD kicks into overdrive. She counts everything. All the time. She can't stop. Rituals and rhythms. It's exhausting. When Fitz was diagnosed with schizophrenia, he named the voices in his head after famous country singers. He loves puns, foreign films, and T-shirts with witty sayings.

I have OCD ticks, anxiety, depression, ADHD and several other issues, this book it truly wonderful and has helped me not only feel less alone, but less scared. I feel for Addie as well for Fitz, they are truly like real people and it’s so neat to see them think through their problems how I do. Your words are lovely and descriptive, so detailed and deep. Thank you Spencer, you’ve truly nudged my world a little.

Historia
Those who have made the decision to homeschool their children have done so out of great love for them and a desire to provide them an excellent education in the context of a warm, enriching home. Yet so many parents (mainly mothers) who have taken up this challenge find the enterprise often full of stress, worry, and anxiety.

Very Helpful
Revisado: 09-29-16
This book is great. It helped me turn my mindset to the right perspective and what the goal should be. The performance overall was good, though there were a few hiccups here and there. I recommend it to anyone who is seeking to homeschool or is currently struggling with homeschooling. Or anyone who just wants a good reminder about the purpose of homeschooling from a Christian perspective
