Andrea Sachs, a small-town girl fresh out of college, is hired as the assistant to Miranda Priestly, the successful editor of Runway magazine. Andrea finds herself in an office that shouts Prada! Armani! Versace! at every turn. As things escalate from the merely unacceptable to the downright outrageous, Andrea begins to realize that the job a million girls would die for may just kill her. Read for Inspiration
Revisado: 01-19-22
This book is a great for telling people who suffer addiction that they are not limited to an AA room for the rest of their life (Wandzilak). This is not going to tell you what to do or how to live your life, but it is a good start to hear that you are not alone and there are others like you out there. What I mean is, parents or care takers of addicts should not feel alone, there are parents or caretakers of addicts that have something in common with you. I really appreciate the book for giving Kristina's mom a voice and a platform. I am so unbelievably proud of Kristina for what she has endured and what she has to live with every day and overcome. I highly respect Kristina and what she does. If you are a parent or caretaker of an addict this is a good read for you. Remember, you are more than just an addict and you are more than just a parent to an addict.
