I opted to listen to Grant after finishing Washington and Hamilton because I like Chernow's style. Grant was in my opinion better in every way, the reader gave a nice touch with his accent and Grant's story is one that rivals that of the greatest people in history. I'd call this a must listen.

Interesting story just not gripping

I like the originality of the story but my mind started to get critical when there were parts that tried to be scientific like the Martian but couldn't get to that level of credibility or believability. In fairness, I love the Martian so my standard going into the book was very high.
