Historia
Somewhere in the toxic Bone Pits, where mechanical nightmares roam, an emaciated and wounded young wolf clings to life. Wracked with pain, driven by instinct, it crawls across the subterranean landscape, avoiding the unnatural horrors that dwell there and seeking sustenance while fending off rats, insects, and other vermin stalking it as prey.

Historia
In the distant past, a time of magic and swordplay, there lived Harold, the mightiest lich of all, a master of arcane sciences, and a challenger of gods. After reaching the pinnacle of his power and finding it surprisingly bland, Harold waged a cataclysmic war against the gods, aiming to shatter the very system that confined him.

If overlord had a sense of humor

at first I tried taking the book far too serious, but then it all slotted into place when I just enjoyed the story for the fun and light adventure it was. my favorite parts are the puns

Historia
Andrew hunts monsters as a member of the Non-Human Investigative Corps, and he's very good at his job. Unfortunately, the skills he honed to keep the peace aren't much use in the cutthroat world of city politics, and a recent civil ruling is forcing the integration of the once exclusively human NHIC!

Go for it. do it. jump in.

I honestly forget the genre of Cebelius's books when I listen to them.
Both his writing and the voice actors performance draw me into the story so much that I want to know more about the big picture. I want to see the characters achieve what they want, and see the story cum to a conclusion (wink). Nothing feels contrived or forced. The story is well paced. honestly, this review can be used for any of Cebelius's work.

Historia
In The Waste, every fantasy creature, fairytale demon, or mythological monster exists. From orcs, to neriads, ogres, trolls, wraiths, elves, harpies, and even beastmen. They all exist, and all despise humankind. In the ruins of the west and east coasts, new governments have arisen. With new jobs. Vince is a Ranger, a profession whose sole job duty is surviving in the waste, and taking missions from the Ranger Guild. Be it courier services, escorts, or simply exploring tombs and cities.

took you long enough to find this
Revisado: 12-08-22
yeah. you don't have to keep looking. I don't remember a single contrivance made from bad characters or stupid misunderstandings. I finished it in 2 afternoons and just kept cleaning my house so I could keep listening.
If someone cleaning their whole house on a Tuesday to keep listening to the book doesn't sell ya, just take a wild bet on this one anyways.

Historia
After Ryan's messy breakup with his girlfriend, he loses his job and finds himself in danger of being evicted from his apartment. With all other options exhausted, he turns to the occult for help, uncovering a hidden world of spirits and magick lurking just beyond his mundane reality. He invokes a demon who assigns a familiar to be his guide, a beautiful Satyr named Nahash. Beneath her restrained exterior lurks a far more sensual creature, but her wilder proclivities are kept in check by her master's watchful eye. As the pair grow closer, her true nature is slowly revealed....

Like "wet clay"~
Revisado: 08-16-22
The pacing, the pay off, everything was spot on. I'm not supposed to feel this attached to characters in this type of literature, but somehow Snek Guy does it every time. I hope Snek Guy reads this so I can tell him he really does create stories I finish in a day because I can't put them down. I'm super glad there's a backlog for me to catch up on!
I've read some (mostly the pinwheel series) of his other works and haven't found one I dislike yet.
Bordeaux Black's voice for this character was perfect. Her accent is developed and static, not faltering throughout the entire book.
