After listening to this I hope the first few books in this series are released in audio...WOW. First of all the duet narration is incredible and Jason Clarke as Adryn is so perfect. Everything I want in a vampire romance...dark, a little taboo, OTT jealous
possessive alpha, action, suspense and HOT!! Can't wait for more!

Not too dark mafia romance

I'm a huge fan of mafia romance and this had everything I wanted...arranged Irish / italian mob marriage, enemies to lovers, action, a little suspense, a possessive H, a smart and sassy heroine and some steam. The story was a little slow to start off and it took me a few chapters to really buy in but once it got rolling it was fantastic way to get through my afternoon of chores. I'm not sure I would categorize this listen as dark, but it did have some darker elements. This was my first listen by this author and my first listen with theses narrators. The narration was amazing and it won't be my last Sophie Lark book!

This listen was a pleasant surprise and everything I want in a mafia romance...action, suspense, a strong heroine, hot anti hero and supporting characters I want to see more of! If you're a fan of mafia romance I definitely recommend! A little dark and violent at times, be warned that there may be triggers for some. The female narration was great...the male took me a few chapters to get used to but by the end I was totally onboard! More please!!

Romance with a little action and suspense is right up my alley and this book did not disappoint. I typically don't listen to books this short but the author was able to create an intriguing and interesting story. I love that the story centered on a married couple so the whole relationship was already established allowing the author to get right to the good stuff while learning the couples dynamic along the way! The narration was amazing...every audiobook should be narrated like this!! I definitely recommend for a quick listen!!

Loved this book for featuring a single dad with his son who is on the spectrum, these aren't characters I typically find in romance but I found it refreshing, real and heartwarming. This narration was spot on for the characters and I appreciated getting to know the other characters in the Single Dads Club. Looking forward to their stories!
