Historia
Thirty years ago, Tucker Carlson got his first job out of college fact-checking for a quarterly magazine, and he went on to write for many other publications before becoming the primetime Fox News host he is today. In The Long Slide, Tucker delivers a few of his favorite pieces - annotated with new commentary and insight - to memorialize the tolerance and diversity of thought that the media used to celebrate instead of punish.

Loved it! And it's about time we had some direction, dealing with the craziness coming from Dems (mainly) and their new far left.

Body Language: An Ex-Spy's Guide to Master the Art of Nonverbal Communication to Know What People Are Really Thinking in Any Situation

Historia
Imagine how different your life would be if you could really know what other people were thinking in any situation. Unless you hone into the non-verbal gestures people are giving off, you will never quite know exactly what they are thinking - whether it's reading your colleagues in the office, your spouse or kids at the dinner table, or even a complete stranger on the street. All too often, people fall short of really picking up the true intentions of others as they depend solely on the words that are being spoken.

Maybe you've been led to believe that brainwashing other people is something that can only happen in movies. Maybe you think that taking advantage of the subconscious mind is something only crazy people would try to do. The truth is, as human beings we're imperfect. We have weaknesses. And if you study and get to know these weaknesses you'll have a huge power in your hands. When you master the right manipulation techniques, the real ones, it is completely possible to influence other people's thinkings and make them do what you desire.

Sorry But...
Revisado: 06-24-18
... But couldn't finish it... the material was obvious and, the author has a nice gentle, almost monotone voice. I had a hard time paying attention. It was simply BORING.

Historia
On January 16, 1942, a plane crashed into the side of a mountain southwest of Las Vegas. Aboard the plane were 15 servicemen, but the plane was also carrying one of Hollywood's biggest stars: actress Carole Lombard. Although Lombard's death and her marriage to Gone with the Wind star Clark Gable have overshadowed her career, her untimely death in 1942 cut short the life of one of Hollywood's most prominent stars at the time.

Although too short ...
Revisado: 07-20-15
Being a consummate admirer of Ms Lombard, both on and off the screen, I enjoyed it immensely. I recommend this short read to anyone even remotely interested in the short life of one Hollywood's most important icons. C. L. defies the stereotype of what most people think of, when they say Hollywood 'Star'.
