Very high level, filled with empty talks
Revisado: 03-16-23
Might be impressive if its your first book like that.
The book is called Zero to One so logically it must cover that stage of a starting a business. But it does not.
The book is filled with many conventional wisdoms,
yet some great ideas can be found,
but from the author of that level I expected some more details about why they actually succeeded.
A list of super high level things to pay attention too, a bunch of useless stories about the world's economy and history.

Historia
Every day we work hard to motivate ourselves, the people we live with, the people who work for and do business with us. In this way much of what we do can be defined as being motivators. From the boardroom to the living room, our role as motivators is complex, and the more we try to motivate partners and children, friends and coworkers, the clearer it becomes that the story of motivation is far more intricate and fascinating than we've assumed.

High level description of few experiments.
Revisado: 01-01-23
I expected something structured,
deep, mechanisms explained on low level.
Not just a couple of a behavioral experiments described.
Not something worth a MIT proffessor.
Book is not worth listening.
If you want to study motivation, better read "Habbits of a happy brain" by Loretta Breuning, or "Stop self sabotage" by Judy Ho.

How can we apply technology to drive business value? For years we've been told that the performance of software delivery teams doesn't matter - that it can't provide a competitive advantage to our companies. Through four years of groundbreaking research to include data collected from the State of DevOps reports conducted with Puppet, Dr. Nicole Forsgren, Jez Humble, and Gene Kim set out to find a way to measure software delivery performance - and what drives it - using rigorous statistical methods.

A waste of time
Revisado: 05-12-22
Look at the description:
"For years, we've been told that the performance of software delivery teams doesn't matter"
What?
Unfortunately the first hour of book was full of such superficial conclusions and I couldnt take it any more.
The organization of the book is 1/5.
The narration is 1/5.

Historia
In 1999, legendary venture capitalist John Doerr invested nearly $12 million in a startup that had amazing technology, entrepreneurial energy and sky-high ambitions, but no real business plan. Doerr introduced the founders to OKRs and with them at the foundation of their management, the startup grew from 40 employees to more than 70,000 with a market cap exceeding $600 billion. The startup was Google.
