A good listen

It was a good listen but the plot went down the straight path. Maybe it’s my listening to other authors but I kept thinking? “Ok, here comes the plot twist”, but it never occurred. Not a bad thing mind you, but I did keep looking for the backstabbing accomplish that never occurred.
As for the story, it was good, detailed and had a couple threads running at the same time.

Good story overall. Seemed to end quickly at the end. The differences on name pronunciation from the regular series and this did take some getting used to

What a finale

To say this series was massive would be an understatement. But it was worth the investment. Wow! The performance was top notch. In fact I don't think I would have enjoyed these books as much if I had read them. I definitely know that my pronunciations would not have been as good. I find myself saying names aloud multiple times just to make sure that i can say then correctly. Plus some names are just so damn awesome to say. It's almost like speaking another language. Thank you everyone who had a hand in the books!!

Yes. I actually own the books. I bought the audio so that I could listen to it again.

Kvothe. Phenominal story about his life.

Great voice, great narration, wonderful performance.

Would you try another book from Andrew J. Mellen and/or Andrew J. Mellen?
Doubtful. I felt his tone was degrading (reading to me like I was a child and not an adult).
What didn’t you like about Andrew J. Mellen’s performance?
Tone and text. Being treated like an idiot / child, who wouldn't do what he suggests without being scolded.
You didn’t love this book... but did it have any redeeming qualities?
Not sure. I didn't make it far due to the tone.
