The author was the narrator and he read it, how it was meant to be read. The story is longer than I expected, and is very thorough in its details. It paints a nice picture for you. The story gave me the chills!

If ester started a cult I would join

I already love ester from her podcasts and various special guest appearances. She doesn’t put a lot of emphasis on Trauma yet is still able to help people work around it in order to have a lasting relationship with their partners. A lot of this book was for parents though and I do not have any children. But I highly recommend it for all people. Children or no children. A lot of lessons are good and I kind of took it as a learning manual for when I am ready.

Great story

Honestly, I wish I would have read this book as a teenager. It probably would have changed my life. Laverne Cox did a good job narrating this. There were parts where she made characters mothers sound like different ethnicities than their daughters though and that was kind of funny. But other than that I have no complains a.

Okay so this was my third attempt at reading Fight Club. The other two were obviously not very successful. But this time I did it, thanks to audible! I didn’t expect to get out of it what I did. Everyone has their own takeaway though, I’m sure. Jim Colby did a great job as well. His voice is so soothing. I could hear it in my dreams. I highly recommend this book. Btw I have never seen the movie but I knew how it ended. So much more than just the big reveal.

This was an interesting book. A lot of Bill’s worries at the beginning matched my own feelings about going into the wilderness. There is a lot of information and statistics in here. So if you’re anti-tree-hugger or don’t believe in acid rain then stay back.

Ups and Downs

I had a semi-hard time getting into this book. There were often times where it felt like the author was just rambling, like that kid in your philosophy class who knows everything. However there was some solid advice in here and I definitely recommend. Also, the performance was really good. I sometimes felt like the author was reading to me himself.
