Historia
After Wanda Frawley’s tragic suicide, rare-book expert Brooklyn Wainwright makes an intriguing discovery in one of Wanda’s old books: A copy of Pride and Prejudice contains a very interesting letter addressed to the deceased’s spouse. In it, Wanda’s sister professes her love for Wanda’s husband. Soon, additional pieces of correspondence are discovered between the covers of other Jane Austen titles, each hinting at sordid secrets - and, perhaps, murder.

Narration
Revisado: 12-31-24
The narrator gave overly dramatic narrations in places, particularly with Becky. It almost made me want to stop the story.

Hmmm…
Revisado: 12-21-22
Not a typical Pendergast novel at all. Not a fan of the sci fi aspect.

This series needs a better sound editor.
Revisado: 12-06-21
The narrator for this series of cozy mysteries is not altogether bad. However, the pacing is odd and the ends of many words (especially at the ends of sentences) are cut off. It is noticeable to begin with but becomes increasingly so as the book goes on.
The stories are pretty good, and I enjoy that they take place in Scottsdale, Arizona. Not the traditional setting.

Correct the synopsis.
Revisado: 07-21-21
I love Agatha Raisin, and there is no better narrator for her than Penelope Keith. But please correct the synopsis. That is a silly mistake from a reputable publisher.
