Historia
Pinion, Minnesota: a huge city of all of 700 folks who define the phrase ‘small town’. Nothing has ever happened in Pinion, and nothing ever will...until the mayor of sorts comes up with a scheme to put Pinion on the map. He’s heard of a place where a floating image of the Virgin Mary turned the whole town into a shrine, attracting thousands of curious people and making the townsfolk rich overnight. Why not stage a prank in Pinion and do the same? What could go wrong? And then a dead body shows up.

Beware of stories that start by telling you how great the story is, how well the book is written, how great the whole thing is.
Revisado: 12-30-24
It’s a typical junky story. Absolutely nothing new or surprising. However, the music constantly playing in the background is excruciatingly annoying.

I enjoyed the narrator
Revisado: 07-30-24
The narrator was great. It’s a good story. But it may not be a realistic view. Or maybe the author doesn’t tell all of the gruesome details. This author seemed by the story to have a relatively easy go of it. Very lucky with support, funding, breaks.

One woman’s story of hard work…
Revisado: 07-12-24
It wasn’t for me. I found it monotonous. I understand her job is difficult. We all have difficulties. My view covers more than just one culture of people delt a short deck. Lots of people never get any chances. I thought this was a one sided story. But, that’s just my opinion.
