I thought the story was a good one. Highs and lows and a good bit of twists. In Audible though - voices matter - and these were super tough for me. I’m not sure where you’ve heard that accent but it was a tough listen. Wished I had read instead of heard.

Hot but wished for more

The initial coupling scenes were great! Playful and hotter than Haiti’s. Nicely done. The part I was disappointed in was there was no true angst. I thought the ex-wife was the gateway but it fizzled fast and we were quickly at the HEA. To appreciate a good HEA there needs to be some angst and this lacked. Still good and glad I read it.

I don’t write a lot of reviews but felt this needed one. This isn’t a warm and fuzzy book. But it has plenty of emotion. Plenty of love. I just LOVE it. I am glad that I can quickly down the follow up.
Truth - my heart is broken. Lie - I’m not downloading the next book now.
