Historia
Former President of Ireland Mary Robinson's mission to bring together the fight against climate change and the global struggle for human rights has taken her all over the world. It also brought her to a heartening revelation: that that an irrepressible driving force in the battle for climate justice could be found at the grassroots level, mainly among women, many of them mothers and grandmothers like herself.

The Elephant Threatens the Point
Revisado: 03-26-22
This is undoubtedly an important book. It's unfortunate that it leaves out one of - if not the most important - point in dealing with the warming climate: addressing human over-population. The author does not even bring it up, let alone look it squarely in the face & offer solutions. This fatal flaw does not invalidate the stories she tells or her argument for the need for prompt, just action but it significantly undermines her credibility as well as that of the solutions she proposes.
