This was well researched by the author which goes to it's authenticity. What she describes is frightening. Those of us on the Left have a lot of catching up to do.

There is more about European countries than I expected. The book is thorough & well researched, however. Much of it is from personal experience.

The authors combined the history of our constitution, as well as the current state of democracy around the world. The contrast between our system and that of other democracies is stark. Others have changed with the times while ours hasn't.

I loved this book! Having the author read it adds to it's authenticity. There is enough autobiographical information to inform without being overwhelming. The chapters dealing with the insurrection are revealing. It's interesting to learn about the inner workings of Congress, especially around that time. This is also a cautionary tale about what is happening in the country and what could be coming. I highly recommend this book!

This story is not the same old romance/magic/witchcraft. The premise is unique. 2 worlds - male & female. I found it fascinating & look forward to the next book.

Well written as other books by this author. however, I struggled to finish it because the characters have such painful lives.

Toni Frutin's accent brought this book alive. Signe Pike's words rang in my head for days after finishing The Lost Queen. Conventional reading of a book with foreign names often slows my pace which is one reason i so enjoyed this book. The story is compelling and Signe Pike keeps the action going without overlong descriptions. There was mention of this story being a trilogy, which I would enthusiastically buy, but could not find any further information about any forthcoming parts. I have to conclude that the trilogy is contained in this one volume, given the length of time covered in the book. I look forward to other books by this author.
